Robert Croft

Robert Croft started his career at the European Headquarters of General Electric Plastics as the design manager for SPE Design. Rob produced designs for major European clients such as Yves St Laurent, Electrolux and Alfa Romeo. He left GEP to produce a line of portable audio products in Hong Kong for Philips Corporate Design, which involved everything from conceptualization through vendor liaison in China.

In 1994, Rob was appointed Creative Director of Deskey Associates in New York City. The group became known for producing breakthrough product and package design for major brands.

FutureBrand hired the entire group in 1997, and Rob was appointed Vice President of Industrial Design. Rob has designed and managed projects for Nestlé Foods, SC Johnson, P&G, Colgate Palmolive, Clairol, Lever, The Dial Corp, Pfizer, Pepsi Cola, Pillsbury, Clorox, Glacier Water, Frito Lay, Novartis, McNeil, Revlon and Gillette.

Rob co-founded Swerve Inc. in 2002, offering turnkey brand-design services, including product, package and retail design. The group utilizes cutting-edge 3D digital modeling and CNC-based rapid prototyping. The managing partners hold more than 80 patents in the field of industrial design.

Rob holds a B.A, Hons. in design from Coventry University.
